- Support and coordination of energy policy processes for Uniper
- Preparation and drafting of strategic assessments, position papers, decision papers, presentations, memos and energy policy analyses
- Identification of topic-specific political decision-makers and contacts, as well as contact management and networking with regard to International and European politics, corresponding administrations and other organisations
- Representation and safeguarding of Uniper's political interests vis-à-vis politicians, administrations, associations and other organisations
- Preparing and advising Uniper Senior Executives in political discussions/events
- Organisation and support of political events

- University (Master's Degree level) preferably in the areas of economics, political science or law or a comparable degree
- Knowledge of the political, economic and legal framework of the energy industry as a whole
- Sound knowledge of European / State policy decision-making levels
- Ideally with an up-to-date and resilient political and/or energy industry network
- Knowledge / experience in the area of low carbon / green gases would be desirable
- Strong sense of political context and sensitivities
- Analytical skills to grasp complex political and energy industry contexts and to derive strategic responses from them
- Ability to produce energy policy and economic analyses flexibly and at short notice
- High linguistic competence and the ability to present complex issues in a simple and understandable way
- Confident appearance and a high degree of teamwork and integration skills, as well as flexibility and motivation to work independently
- Excellent written and spoken English, knowledge of another foreign language desirable
