Über uns

Over the past six decades, the Munich Security Conference (MSC) has developed into the central global forum for the debate of security policy topics. Each February, over 450 high-ranking decision-makers from all over the world come together to discuss current and future security policy challenges. In addition to the annual main conference in Munich, the msc organizes events worldwide on various themes and regions and publishes the annual Munich Security Report as well as other publications on selected security policy challenges. With all its activities, the MSC aims to promote trust and contribute to the peaceful resolution of conflicts by facilitating a sustained, curated and informal dialogue within the international security community.

The MSC will convene a high-level group of experts and former policymakers in support of ongoing diplomatic efforts across the Middle East in a unique Track II initiative. This group will seek to identify, list, categorize and prioritize the key issues and problems that must be resolved if the region is to become peaceful and realize its enormous potential. It will convene for a series of regular meetings and discussions in the region and beyond. The MSC will act as the group’s secretariat and will track and summarize the discussions in dedicated publications. For this exclusive and timely project we are looking for additional staff for our Stiftung Münchner Sicherheitskonferenz Projektgesellschaft mbH.
