Senior Advisor, Public Affairs (m/f/d)
You will execute Grundfos's public affairs activities in Germany in close cooperation with the regional PA team and regional business leadership in our four customer segments. You will be the Berlin-based anchor for Grundfos advocacy activities to enhance Grundfos's impact on the sustainability agenda, specifically within the water and climate policy. Furthermore, through dedication, personality and skills, you will enhance the Grundfos reputation as a trusted partner among relevant political stakeholders in Germany.
Key activities
Execute our public affairs advocacy activities, including issue tracking, stakeholder mapping, input to consultations, engagement with relevant interest organizations, etc. You will be cooperating closely with our business segments, creating a supportive regulatory framework.
Gather and disseminate information on political and regulatory issues relevant to our business to our regional leaders as well as feed into our global political intelligence framework.
Over time, become a part of building a regional team that can deliver on our ambitions across our business areas.
Enhance our policy impact with full time presence in Germany.
Competencies and experience
- A public affairs professional with 5 -10 years of experience working in a policy institution (German parliament, ministry, etc.) or an interest organization.
- In-depth knowledge on the German policy arena and, preferably, with interest in environment or/and climate agenda.
- Mature network in German institutions and the member states' permanent representations.
- Self-employed team player with the ability to exercise good judgment in a rapidly changing environment.
- Experience with building alliances and campaigns with key stakeholders in Germany.
- Great interpersonal, political, analytical and communicative skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities and areas for improvement, and to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred education
- Master's degree or equivalent, likely in either law, social sciences, political science, engineering or business.
